About Mom Loves Cooking

momlovescooking

I’m a mom, a home cook, and someone who has always found happiness in the kitchen. For me, cooking was never just about making food. It was always about taking care of people, bringing family together, and creating memories around the table.

My love for cooking started when I was very young. I grew up watching my mother cook every single day not from recipe books or fancy videos, but from experience, love, and instinct. I used to sit on the kitchen counter while she cooked and ask endless questions about every spice, every ingredient, and every little step. Sometimes she would let me stir the curry or help roll dough, even though I usually made a mess more than anything else.

One of my favorite childhood memories is from a rainy evening when the electricity went out in our house. My mother lit candles in the kitchen and started making hot pakoras and tea for the family. I still remember sitting there listening to the sound of rain while the whole house smelled of fried onions and spices. Everyone was laughing, talking, and eating together in candlelight. It was such a simple moment, but somehow it felt magical to me.

Years later, after becoming a mother myself, cooking became even more meaningful. Some of my happiest memories are connected to making meals for my children packing lunchboxes early in the morning, baking little treats on weekends, or trying new recipes just to see their reactions at the dinner table.

I still laugh when I remember one particular day when my child refused to eat vegetables completely. I spent almost an hour secretly mixing vegetables into pasta sauce, hoping they wouldn’t notice. To my surprise, they finished the entire plate and asked for more. That tiny victory honestly felt bigger than any restaurant compliment ever could.

Over time, friends and family kept asking me for recipes, cooking tips, and meal ideas. That’s what slowly inspired me to create Mom Loves Cooking a place where I can share the recipes and flavors that have been part of my life for years.

Momlovescooking is filled with comforting homemade recipes, easy meals, family favorites, sweet treats, and dishes inspired by different cuisines and cultures. I love exploring new flavors while still keeping recipes simple enough for everyday cooking.

I know life gets busy. Not every meal has to look perfect, and not every recipe needs complicated ingredients. Sometimes the best meals are the simplest ones made with love after a long day.

Whether you’re a beginner learning to cook, a busy parent trying to make dinner faster, or someone who simply loves homemade food, I hope you find recipes here that make your kitchen feel warmer and your meals feel special.

Thank you for being here and becoming part of this journey with me. It truly means so much.

From my kitchen to yours ❤️
